Was ist Nuis-Ransomware?

Nuis-Ransomware ist eine neue Malware, die von Bedrohungsakteuren mithilfe der Djvu-Ransomware-Infrastruktur verbreitet wird.

Nuis verschlüsselt fast jede Kachel auf einem System und hinterlässt deren Inhalt verschlüsselt. Nach der Verschlüsselung erhalten Dateien die Erweiterung „.nuis“. Dadurch wird eine Datei mit dem Namen „document.txt“ bei der Verschlüsselung in „document.txt.nuis“ umgewandelt.

Nuis verschlüsselt die meisten Medien-, Dokument-, Archiv- und Datenbankdateitypen sowie ausführbare Dateien.

Sobald der Verschlüsselungsprozess abgeschlossen ist, legt die Ransomware ihre Lösegeldforderungen in einer Datei namens „_readme.txt“ ab. Der vollständige Text der Lösegeldforderung lautet wie folgt:
